UL Webinar - Circular Economies and Second Life Products At the Crossroads of Circularity and Safety
Dear Members and Stakeholders,
We are pleased to invite you to join the next TIC Council webinar that will feature circular economy experts from UL (a TIC Council member) for a lively and topical discussion about how standards and certification accelerate the safe adoption of innovations to transition towards a circular economy system.
Focus Points:
Catherine Sheehy and Kenneth Boyce will consider the emergence of the circular economy conversation and how some “old school” safety principles can speed adoption of refurbished and remanufactured products and foster reuse.
They will discuss when it is and when it is not appropriate to “revive” a product for repurposing, and the importance of standards and third-party certification to ensuring trust in the outcomes of this important movement to “bend the curve” of the conventional “take, make, use, and waste” economic model.
The webinar on 'Circular Economies and Second Life Products At the Crossroads of Circularity and Safety' will take place on 29 April 2020 from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST.
The webinar is addressed to the TIC Community, please feel free to distribute the information within your organization. The threshold of participation to the platform is 300 participants maximum, as such registrations will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
